Tuition is billed in semester installments approximately 30 days prior to the due date.  The due date will always be the Friday before each semester begins, unless otherwise noted. Tuition and policies for ACHE’s education programs are subject to change.

STEP 1: SUBMIT GRADCAS APPLICATION

The GradCAS application is available online at https://gradcas.liaisoncas.org/apply/. The priority application deadline for Fall is August 1, and for Spring is December 1, but is subject to change annually.

STEP 2: Application Review

Competitive applicants who have met all admissions requirements and Technical Standards for Admission and Continued Enrollment will be reviewed by the admissions committee. There are no interviews.

STEP 3: ADMISSIONS DECISION

Admission decisions are given within approximately two weeks of your application being completed in GradCAS. If accepted, you will be given a deadline to submit certain documents to complete matriculation requirements.

Admissions Requirements

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM

A holistic review process is applied to each MPH application. We are looking for students with promising academic performance along with grit and determination, and a passion for serving underserved communities, which is consistent with the mission of ACHE.

  • Earned Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants must have an earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution or an international university (with an evaluation from an agency on the NACES website).
  • Minimum GPA: A minimum overall graduate cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Students seeking admission to the MPH program will be required to submit the following materials.

  • Online Application: Complete the official online application.
  • Official Transcripts: Submit an official transcript from every college or university previously attended.
  • Current Resume or CV: Provide a current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Professional Statement: A professional statement outlining goals for seeking and obtaining the MPH degree and how it may be applied to the applicant’s professional pathway.

International Applicants: If applicable, applicants must meet the requirements for graduate student international admissions, which include completing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the language of instruction of this program, if the applicant’s first language is not English.

The DrPH is designed to prepare mid-level career professionals for leadership roles in rural health and sustainable development.
